Public Statement Regarding Recent Events
We are deeply saddened and shocked by the recent convictions of individuals we once knew. Like many in the community, we are disgusted and angered by their actions, and we stand firmly with the victims in their pursuit of justice.
However, we must make it absolutely clear: our business have no involvement whatsoever in the crimes that were committed. While one of the convicted individuals is a relative, and the others were acquaintances through the community, we had no knowledge of their actions and we strongly condemn them.
Despite this, our business have become targets of harassment, vandalism, and false accusations. This is completely unjust and has caused significant emotional and financial harm.
We want the public to know that all names of individuals spreading false accusations, misleading information, and hate comments or posts on social media have been submitted to the police. We are taking this very seriously, and legal action will follow where appropriate.
The recent vandalism of our business, including smashed windows, was caught on CCTV — which is connected directly to the local police station. One individual involved has already been arrested, and others are being identified. In addition, those who spat on our windows have also been identified, and specimens of saliva have been collected and submitted to the police as evidence.
We want to be very clear: just know that everything is being reported, and we are protected by the law and the police. Their crimes are not ours. Continuing to harass us, damage our property, or spread false information does not bring justice — it only creates more victims and adds more offenders to the list.
All of this has been formally reported, and the authorities are now handling the matter.
We understand that emotions are high, but directing anger toward innocent people only adds to the pain and chaos. Our focus should be on supporting the victims and allowing the justice system to do its job.
Please stop the harassment and violence. Let the law hold the right people accountable.
