Hey peeps.

Just a heads up with regards to Sunday/monday morning. Due to the nature of the timings of England v Mexico and despite the friend of the people’s Prime minister (pun) putting in emergency measures so us pubs can show the game beyond our licensed hours - we have decided it’s still a little too late to make it viable.

Our Little garden is key to big events like this, as you’ve probably seen in the videos I have posted.

With respect to our neighbours, we wouldn’t be able to roll the big screen out and pack the garden as in previous games, so it would be an inside affair only.

When we’ve had the later games, people have struggled to keep pace so just imagine what 1am will do…

We are a small team as you may or not know and for most of the wonderful staff, this is a second job and they have work Monday morning.

The cost of Double time for working into the early hours will not justify people sitting for maybe a couple of pints and copious cups of coffee to keep them awake… sadly we’re not Starbucks!!

Yeah I probably will get a backlash from the few but I hope you all understand..

A pub’s for life not just for a 1am potentially 3am kick off as it’s gonna be weather permitting.

Game one done and the result we hoped for.
A few from last night.. a bloody great evening.
Glitter groove disco DJ to start off proceedings whist people settled back with the big one to look forward to… and it didn’t disappoint.
Bit of advice.. get here early if you want a seat in the garden.
Order your pizzas in plenty of time to soak up the atmosphere that only you can create and also to soak up the beers!
We will probably take bookings with pre ordered pizzas and deposits in the later stages if we march through with that Bellingham swagger but for now it’s first come first seated!

Thanks to my unbelievable staff that worked their socks off.
I apologise for those that wasn’t here.. it was load!! Also due to these poxy rehydration/advert breaks our garden run over by 15 minutes!

The party starts from 6pm then we’ll roll into kickoff at 9. Pizzas will be available till 10pm.
Due to our licence unfortunately kids and under 18s are a no go for these games unless we get an early game on the up and coming knock out games.. if we’re that lucky!

Get here early.. Let’s do this!
