It's Sourdough September! 🍞

The focus for this year is on making on simple swap from your regular supermarket loaf, to a genuine sourdough. Whether that be by baking your own sourdough or shopping at your local sourdough supplier (hopefully us!) it is a month for prioritising delicious, wholesome produce.

Keeping a small business running is never easy, but last week's 35°C heat certainly gave us an extra challenge! ☀️🥵

From fridge and freezer meltdowns to melted chocolate and a bakery that felt like an oven, the heat affected almost every part of what we do.

A huge thank you to our incredible team, from the bakers to baristas and everyone in between, we're so proud of our Chalk Hills family and everything they do ❤️

And to our wonderful customers, thank you for your patience, understanding and kindness when things go wrong in this heat!

This is your reminder that you can order any of our Deli items, breads or baked goods online to collect at our Kiosk in Horley, just in time for father's day! ❤️

If you live in the Horley area and don't want to travel to our shop in Reigate this weekend, you can get the same products ready for collection at 16, Gatwick Metro Centre, Balcombe Rd, Horley RH6 9GA ✨

Our Kiosk is open from 8am-2.30pm Mon-Fri and 8am-2pm Saturday!

Orders must be placed by 3pm the day before to be ready for the next day!
