Today on the counter we have a hazelnut and chocolate ganache cake, had to rush the photography cos someone ordered a slice as I was bringing it out!

Chocolate chip sponge, chocolate ganache and hazelnut filling, white chocolate ganache and toasted hazelnuts on top. That first slice got this review “best cake I’ve had all year!”. So there we go.

It probably won’t last long though!

As many of you know, Portreath does Halloween exceptionally well with the Trembling Tram being the highlight.

If you don’t know, it’s a spooky walk through the woods for little kids and big kids alike, all run by an incredible group of volunteers (and they’re always looking for more helpers!). Last year they had over 300 visitors! Honestly, it’s so worth the trip.

And this year we’re getting spooky too. All week cos it’s half term too - wooooooooo!

We’ll be making ghostly lanterns, serving up spooky shakes and giving out treats to anyone in costume.

We cannot wait!

As promised, we are back with another Raclette Night!

Friday 16th October
6pm - 9pm

Load up your plate from our counter full of cured meats, veggies, potatoes and, of course, crusty baguette, then watch as we cover it all in melted raclette cheese (courtesy of the incredible Great British Trading ).

This is a proper winter feast and après ski attire is actively encouraged (although not a requirement!).

This is likely to be our last Deli & Dine evening for the year as we're due a baby in November so may be a little occupied! So you'll need to book in quickly if you want to snap up a ticket.

VIVA ESPAÑA 🍷🇪🇸

This month’s Wine Club is heading to Spain.

Expect a relaxed evening of great wine, good food and plenty of Spanish flavours. From crisp Cava and fresh Albariño to classic Rioja, we’ll be pouring our way through a little taste of España.

Our Spanish tapas menu will be available throughout the evening, with plenty of dishes designed for sharing.

🍷 Wine Club | Friday 25th September | 6–10pm

Tickets are limited and our Wine Club evenings have a habit of filling up, so don’t leave it until the last minute.
