A quick reminder of how much fun you have on the decks at The Oxford ahead of our Bank Holiday Summer Special Redruth Record Club 💿

You know the drill:
Rock up. Put your name on the board. Play 3 records on the theme.
Or just come to listen, dance, and watch the black leather jackets mingle with the parkas. As always, everyone is welcome.

Good tunes, good vibes. See you there.

The weather is looking ☀️☀️ for the Victoria Park Fun Day on Saturday. Bring your hat, your sunscreen, your water and then just enjoy the day 😎

Next weekend, 11th July, family Fun Day in Victoria Park, bouncy castle, dog show, displays, stalls, BBQ and bar in the bowls club, do come and say hello, always a great atmosphere.

Know either of these two? Then you already know where you need to be this Friday.

7:30pm.

It’s the very first Club Handsome — and we’re hosting it to celebrate 5 years of Lucky’s Record Bar!

On the decks: DJ Babyface Downing and DJ Devilishly Ansum.

If you’ve lost an afternoon in the emporium of the hardest-working man in vinyl...
If you’ve sipped his coffee, bought a record, or caught his legendary mime...

If you’ve watched DJ Devilishly Ansum tear up the floor with those Northern Soul moves — and that bass-player flair only he can pull off...
Or maybe he made you a coffee in days gone by...

Then this is the night for you!

Friday 10 July, 7:30pm

Come celebrate 5 years and a 50 something birthday, handsomely.

SAVE THE DATE — JOIN THE CLUB

For International Dawn Chorus Day on May 3, we're inviting you to join the Dawn Chorus Club.

All you have to do is get up early, listen to the birds, and share your experience using . Oh, and get the group chat involved, too.

The dawn chorus is when birds sing full pelt in the early morning, establishing territories and attracting mates, and it peaks in spring.

It also happens practically everywhere, so you can even just crack open a window and listen from your bed. We've got events on reserves as well.

So mark your calendar, check your local dawn time, and set your alarms. You won't want to miss this.
