If you are in Redhill today (Thursday 9th May) please drop in to West Central. 11.30am would be a great time to pop in, but any time between 10am and 3pm would be amazing.

God has been so good to us over the last few years, and the community is going to miss WC so much. Please come and support the staff and regular customers as they serve and receive their last coffees from Jo and Mandy.

Dear customers

We want you to know that West Central, our coffee shop here at
Christ Central will be closing on 9th May. For over 11 years, West Central has been more than just a coffee shop; it has been a cornerstone in our community and the front door to this church.

After a lot of prayer and consideration, the church has made this difficult decision for two main reasons. Firstly, Christ Central would like to reimagine what it does here in order to have an even greater impact on Redhill. Secondly, despite the dedication and hard work of many people, including our largely volunteer team, running West Central is currently financially unsustainable for the church.

Although West Central will no longer operate as a coffee shop,
Christ Central will be continuing to run events and ministries here, so don't be surprised if you see West Central used when you walk past.

We would like to thank you for your continued support.

We are looking for new people to serve at West Central... If you or someone you know would like to contribute to the life of our community, make new friends, learn new skills etc. then this might be for you/them. The team is fantastic and incredibly supporting 🥰 Work includes clearing tables, washing up, customer service, food prep etc. All training is provided. As we all know, the cost of everything is going up and we want want to be honest about that. We aren't trying to generate more but it's a direct result of our suppliers going up. We've tried to absorb as much as we can here too.

We will continue to provide the best coffee and service we can. We love all of you, our customers and its been amazing ti have some of you join our volunteer team as we continue to serve and engage with our community!
