✨ Just something for you to look forward to… ✨

Some of our customers can’t have eggs, whether that’s through personal choice or because of a medical need. ❤️

Since finding out that I can’t have eggs, I’ve realised just how difficult it can be to access some of the things I would normally enjoy — especially when it comes to cakes and treats!

So, I’ve found an egg replacement that I’m going to be trying over the next few days and, maybe… just maybe… I might even make myself a birthday cake! 🎂😅 Why not?!

If it goes well and tastes as good as I’m hoping, I’ll be bringing one of our popular cakes to the tea room as a vegan option. 🌱❤️

But don’t worry — our usual selection isn’t going anywhere! We’ll still have all the favourites you know and love. 😊

Vegan can be a choice, but for some people it can also be a medical necessity — and it’s something I find myself needing too.

I want our tea room to be somewhere **everyone** can enjoy a little treat, because one size definitely doesn’t fit all. ❤️

So fingers crossed for some successful baking… and maybe a birthday cake! 🤞🎂😅

Lots of delicious things are coming back all at once, and you’re going to be spoilt for choice… I promise! 🤭❤️

Over the last few weeks, I haven’t been feeling very well and, if I’m completely honest, I’ve been dragging myself into work when really I should have been resting. But when you’re self-employed, taking that time for yourself can feel almost impossible.

So, I’m finally taking a proper little break — to celebrate my birthday 🎂🥰 and hopefully get myself feeling more like me again and back on track.

I just want to say a massive thank you for all of your support, for continuing to show up, order, like, comment and share. It genuinely means more than you know. ❤️

I’ve got some posts scheduled while I’m away, so please keep interacting with them, liking, commenting and sharing — it really does help more than you realise! 🥰

It’s been a little bit of a quiet spell here lately, especially this morning — we haven’t had a single customer through the door yet! 😔

Even our cheese scones all went home with family yesterday, so it’s definitely been a slow one!

We know times are tough, and small businesses — especially those of us in the food industry — are really feeling the pinch at the moment. Every single customer, purchase, recommendation and share genuinely makes a difference to a small business like ours. ❤️
