Christmas at the Rowbarge

We are so looking forward to the festive season and want to make sure it’s a special one for you and your loved ones.

Throughout December our Daily Menu will be full of seasonal fayre alongside (what we hope are) all your classic favourites. We also have our Christmas set menu which is available as two courses or three courses.

The Great Thatcham Duck Race returns to The Rowbarge on Sunday 6th September.

Organised by Thatcham Rotary Club, this much-loved annual event raises money for local charities and is always a fantastic day out.

This year, the race will be supporting Swings and Smiles, a Thatcham-based charity that provides support for siblings growing up with a brother or sister who has disabilities or additional needs.

Duck race tickets will be available to buy on the day or in advance from the Rotary Club's online shop. There's no need to book to come along - simply turn up and enjoy the day.

We'll be serving drinks and hot rolls from 10am, with our Daily Menu available from 12 noon, so why not make a day of it and help support a wonderful local cause?

We're really excited to have Blue Beetle Ceramics at The Rowbarge for a pottery painting class on Wednesday 19th August from 7pm until 10pm.

Blue Beetle Ceramics will bring along a selection of both functional and ornamental pottery to choose from to decorate on the night. There will be an array of pottery glazes, as well as an assortment of tools to aid your design. Once completed your pottery it will head back to their studio in Thatcham to be glazed and fired in the Kiln. It will be available for collection 1 week later.

Tickets are £20 per person and this will go towards your pottery selection. Please note, there will be some items that are more than £20 and the difference can be paid on the night
