🎉 **THIS SATURDAY: AUDIOTONIC ARE COMING HOME!** 🎉

Burghfield, get ready — our own local legends AUDIOTONIC are playing The Hatch Gate this Saturday, and we could not be more excited!

If you don’t know Audiotonic, you’re in for a treat. These guys are from right here in the village, but they’ve been busy smashing it at massive festivals and gigs all across the region (Rewind and Marvellous Festivals, anyone?!). They almost never get the chance to play a hometown show these days, so this is a genuinely rare opportunity to see them up close, on our patch, playing to the village that made them back in the day.

We’re beyond proud to have secured them for one night only, and it’s completely FREE for everyone to come and enjoy.

🎶 Expect belting 80s, 90s and 00s covers, huge singalong anthems, and a proper party atmosphere to see out the summer in style.

Families and friends welcome — bring the whole gang and make a night of it! And if you fancy pairing the music with something delicious, Burghfield Spices’ award-winning curry is calling your name. We’d strongly recommend booking a table, because this one is going to be BUSY.

💔 Remembering Neil Kiley

It’s with great sadness that we share the news that Neil, one of our much-loved club regulars, passed away on 19th August after a short battle with a brain tumour. Many of you will remember his fabulous Aston Martin DB6, which he brought along to our meets for years before recently selling it. A real character, loved by many, and always loved at our gatherings — he’ll be greatly missed.

Our next classic car club meeting will be dedicated to celebrating his life. Come along, bring your cars, and raise a glass with our petrol head friends.

⛪ Funeral details
Neil’s funeral will be held at St Mary’s Church, Mortimer, on Wednesday 9th September at 11am. A procession will travel through Mortimer beforehand, and his family are hoping to include some classic cars — please get in touch if you’d like to take part. An informal send-off with stories, memories and a toast to Neil will follow afterwards (venue to be confirmed).
