The Roebuck re-opened after an extensive refurb in 2013 but remains the heart and soul of the community, offering great drinks offers and the cheapest beer this side of town, food is offered 5 - 9 Wednesday to Friday and all day Saturday and Sunday and Friday night quirky quiz, live music Saturday, Pool & Darts, Theme Nights, Private Parties, Wii Nights, Karaoke are all offered, see our boards for

more details. During the pandemic we have adapted the opening times inline with the government guidelines, Booking a table is also advisable and you must wear a mask at all times when moving around the venue. Opening times currently are 1pm to 10pm 7 days a week.

Well, well, well… what can I say? 😂❤️

Yesterday was one of those completely unexpected days that reminds us exactly why we love doing what we do at The Roebuck.

There was laughter, there was fun, there was plenty of questionable singing 🎤😂 and, at times, absolutely no idea what was going on… but honestly, it was brilliant!

Someone actually pulled me to one side yesterday and said:

“Every time I come in here, I never know what to expect. It’s the most bizarre pub I’ve ever been in… but I never fail to have a good time.” 😂

And do you know what? I’ll happily take that as a compliment!

Yes, we know we’re sometimes a little bit crazy. Yes, things can be a bit off the wall. And yes, you genuinely never quite know what’s going to happen at The Roebuck!

But underneath all the madness, we really do care. We love seeing people laughing, enjoying themselves, meeting up with friends, making memories and, hopefully, feeling like they’re part of something.

Because that’s what The Roebuck family is all about.

So thank you to everyone who came through the doors yesterday, joined in, had a laugh and made it such a special day.

You’re the reason we keep doing it.

So, after taking one look at Monday’s weather forecast, we’ve decided the Garden Party is officially coming indoors! 🌧️🤣

But we’ve listened to what you Buckers said, so we’re moving the party to SUNDAY, 2PM TILL 6PM 🎉

And we’re packing plenty into the afternoon:

🍽️ A proper Sunday roast
🌭 Hot dogs
🍔 Burgers
🍻 Great drinks
😂 Great company

It was genuinely lovely to see some familiar faces from other watering holes in today enjoying a delicious Sunday lunch. ❤️

Here at The Roebuck, everyone is welcome, and we genuinely mean that. We don’t care where our customers choose to have a drink, because at the end of the day, everyone should feel free to choose where they spend their time.
