The Elephant at Pangbourne has two dining areas. ‘BaBar’ has a bistro feel, serving excellent local produce in a simple and classic manner, while our restaurant, Christoph’s, offers an elegant fine dining alternative. You can even choose to dine al fresco in our enclosed garden (perhaps with a cold glass of Louis Roederer champagne in your hand - weather permitting!) whilst you mull over what to eat, or get dressed up and sip a Singapore Sling in our intimate cocktail lounge.

'Fantastic place 10/10.

Excellent welcoming experience at the Elephant. Staff went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. The bar is well laid out, and it is a lovely quiet pub to sit in on an evening.

I was here as I am working in the area, and I enjoyed coming back to the hotel every time. The food was spot on; I especially recommend the steak. The rooms were clean, tidy and very, very comfortable.'
