We had homemade quiche for our dinner on Monday... and now we're wondering if we should make a few more and stick them on the specials board! 🤔

This one is packed with bacon, broccoli and cheese, served with chips, side salad and coleslaw.

🚨 WANTED: A MYTHICAL CREATURE 🚨

You know... a scrap man who actually turns up.

We've been promised collections so many times we're starting to think scrap collectors are like unicorns ...... often talked about, rarely seen.

We've got:
🔥 1 x 6 burner commercial cooker 🍟 2 x commercial fryers
❄️ 2 x chest freezers
🧊 1 x big upright freezer
🥤 2 x under-counter fridges
🧺 1 x washing machine
Happy to pay.

At this point, we're not even bothered if you arrive on a horse, in a van, or carried by pigeons. We just want the stuff gone before it becomes part of the pub's historical collection.

Tag your most reliable scrap person below. Bonus points if they've mastered the difficult art of saying "I'll be there Tuesday" and then actually turning up on Tuesday.

It was wonderful to see so many men and their doggos taking part in the Men Walking & Talking - Sonning Common Group this evening.

Seeing a large group of men getting together, enjoying some fresh air, good company and conversation is a fantastic reminder of how important community connections can be.

A walk may seem like a simple thing, but opportunities to chat, share experiences, and support one another can make a real difference.

Well done to everyone involved. We hope the group continues to grow and goes from strength to strength.

🎱 BINGO NIGHT UPDATE! 🎱

Well... 10 people came for bingo, and somehow Jules turned into a one-woman bingo machine!

Over 3 games she walked away with a whopping £169, winning:

🏆 All 3 rounds in Game 1
🏆 Full House in Game 2
🏆 Full House in Game 3

As you can clearly see from the photo, everyone else was absolutely thrilled for her success and celebrated in the traditional way... by covering her in bingo dabber ink. 😂

Not only that, but Jules very kindly donated part of her winnings to our chosen charity, Veterans In Action, which was incredibly generous of her. ❤️

We'll all be practising our lucky numbers before the next one! 🍀🎱

Well, that was a whirlwind half hour! 🤣

We've officially SOLD OUT of roast dinners already! Does this mean I can go back to bed now? Asking for a friend...

We didn't even get chance to take a photo before they all disappeared, so instead here's a picture of our beautiful hanging baskets looking far more photogenic than the roasts ever would! 🌸

Don't panic though ....... our usual menu is still being served until 4pm, and don't forget it's BINGO tonight from 6pm with Paul calling the numbers.
