ice matcha milk tea
1. Sift the matcha
Add 1–2 teaspoons of matcha powder into a cup and sift to remove clumps.
2. Add hot water
Pour in about 50–70 ml of hot water (70–80°C).
3. Whisk until smooth
Whisk in a zigzag motion until fully dissolved and slightly frothy.
4. Sweeten (optional)
Add sugar, honey, or syrup while it’s still warm so it dissolves easily.
5. Prepare a glass with ice
Fill a glass with ice cubes.
6. Add milk
Pour 150–200 ml of cold milk (dairy, oat, almond, etc.) over the ice.
7. Combine
Slowly pour the matcha mixture over the milk for a layered look, or stir to combine.
8. Serve
Enjoy immediately while cold and refreshing.
