šŗ Use Us⦠or Lose Us! ā
Running a small village pub isnāt always the picture you see in the postcards. Itās not just pints pulled and laughs at the bar (although we do plenty of that!). Behind the scenes, itās rising costs, long hours, and a lot of hope that our community still wants a local place to gather.
Village pubs like ours survive on everything ā not just a big Saturday night.
Itās the morning coffee after the school run.Itās the midweek pint with a friend.Itās popping in for a quick lunch.Itās a family meal when you donāt fancy cooking.Itās a quiz night, a birthday drink, or just somewhere warm to sit and chat.
Every coffee, every pint, every plate of food genuinely helps keep the lights on and the doors open.
The truth is simple: if small pubs arenāt used, they disappear. And once theyāre gone, theyāre gone for good.
Your village pub is more than a business ā itās a meeting place, a little bit of community spirit, and sometimes the only place in the village where everyone still bumps into each other.
So next time youāre thinking about where to meet a friend, grab a coffee, celebrate something, or just get out of the houseā¦
Think local. Pop in. Say k
Because the message really is that simple:
Use us⦠or lose us.
And weād much rather see you at the bar than see the doors close.
