Manning's Bakers & Confectioners Bakery & Confectioners Manning's Bakers was set up in 1947 by Michael Manning.

Michael ran a fish and chip shop, but growing increasingly fed up with the quality of pies being supplies, he started to bake them himself. From there, Manning's Bakers was born.

There are currently 12 shops across the East Lancashire area.

💚 A huge thank you to everyone who got involved in our Wear It Green Day for Mental Health Foundation Awareness Week 2026 💚

From Head Office to our site teams, it was fantastic to see so many people taking part, supporting each other, and helping us raise an amazing £163.50 for the Mental Health Foundation.

The day was all about encouraging conversations, checking in with one another, and reminding ourselves that mental health matters every day of the year.

We’ve shared a few photos from the day and a look back at why supporting mental health in construction is so important to us.

We'd also like to say a big thank you to Manning's Bakers & Confectioners for helping us out with the green cakes!
