So today we join That's TV Lancashire for an interview about our new Community Lounge and Women's Workshop.
With help from funding from Lancashire Police and Crime Commissioner, Rossendale Police and Andy MacNae MP we have established a dedicated women and girls space along with a community space for groups and sessions available to all.......
We will post a link to the interview so you can hear all about the new space.

So after a very busy few months at La Latte Lounge we have decided to take a few days off....
To Rest, Relax and Recharge for upcoming events that we will be involved in.
All our group sessions will still go ahead and I will message you all individually with arrangements for opening times.

Next week we see the start of our new follow on session for the women's DIY group....
We do still have limited space for both sessions if any women are interested in joining these.

These session are far more than just DIY!!!
They are aimed at empowering women and girls to be self sufficient around the home, to help build resilience and encourage women out of their comfort zone in trying something new. I also brings with it a connection with all women involved in ensuring they are equips with basic skills in the house and a network of other women to give advise and help.

Yesterday was a special day for La Latte Lounge
Now we have a dedicated Community Space as well as a complete Women's Workshop to help combat social isolation, depression, anxiety, mental health and any kind of abuse.
Many women face their fears alone, not wanting to bother or share experiences due to the embarrassment of what they have endured. Feeling they don't want to share or are scared to open up.
La Latte Lounge Community Cafe CIC with funding from Rossendale Police, Lancashire Police and Crime Commissioner and Andy MacNae MP has opened up a new space on Bank Street to help the community of Rossendale.
Our main aim is to empower women and girls with basic life skills and provide a safe, comfortable space which they can come any time, it will be a welcoming environment that helps rebuild resilience and connections.
We also have a new Community Lounge which will host most of our groups and sessions as well more groups to be added next month.
We will be working with a multiple of agencies in delivering the best outcomes we can for people that need help!

Thank you to everyone who came yesterday to support La Latte Lounge Community Cafe CIC.
Many of the agencies have worked alongside us for the past 2 years and given us the support we needed to provide this space for the people of Rossendale.

From start to finish!!
What a weekend.....
I want to thank everyone who wished me Happy Birthday and for the amazing gifts and card, I was and still am overwhelmed by the people around me!
Friday we spent the day in Skipton and our trip on board Skipton Boat Trips The Dalesman.
We shopped, eat great food and enjoyed the beautiful weather before our fish and chip supper enjoyed with fantastic company!
Saturday was mental! Shop packed and enjoyed the day with customers.
Sunday was a special day spent with my La Latte Lounge Family eating and drinking and playing games!!!!
It had been an amazing weekend with people I love ❣️

La Latte Lounge will be closed at dinner and back open tomorrow morning!

Information regarding opening times this week...
We will be closing tomorrow at 1pm - 3pm due to appointment!
We will be back open in the afternoon for Williams Watercolour Wednesday then our DIY session in the evening.

We will be closing at 12pm on Friday 22nd May for our trip to Skipton with Skipton Boat Trips
