A recent addition to our Whisky shelf is Penderyn Single Malt Welsh Whisky. An exceptionally good whisky.

Penderyn Single Malt has a light fruitiness, generous flavour and a subtle complexity. Their unique stills produce a spirit of extraordinary strength and purity. This is married with water from the Brecon Beacons National Park and matured in a combination of the finest ex-bourbon oak barrels and ex-Oloroso sherry casks to bring out its rich fruity notes.

Tasting Notes
Nose: Aromas of dark fruit and rich toffee mingle with green apples and hazelnuts.
Palate: A rich sweetness gives way to refreshing dryness.
Finish: Sweet notes of toffee and sultana persist in the long finish.
Balance: Sherry and oak / winter spices.
