We will be closed tomorrow all day as it’s Fathers’ Day and Mr C deserves some pampering! As for my own dear Dad, well he passed many years ago but I remember him every single day….
We will be open on Monday morning, 8.30am… enjoy the weekend everyone!

So here’s our dry run for our Fathers’ Day takeout tea box… containing:-
Scotch egg
Pork pie
Cheese wedge
Demi baguette
Beef crisps
English Breakfast teabag
Fruit cake wedge
Plain scone
Clotted cream
Strawberry jam
Shortbread finger pack of 2 (not shown). All contained in a Kraft food box and tied with ribbon or string with a tag for you to write on. The cost? Just £15 with half payable upon ordering, the balance upon collection at an agreed time. Very excited to tell you of the new ranges of jams, jellies, pickles, olives, nuts, dressings, pastes and peppers we are carrying currently. Made by Olive et Al and Fruity Kitchen they are just in time for Father’s Day! With boxes and ribbon we can help you make a little hamper complete with tag!!

In addition we will be making up take-away tea boxes for Saturday collection as we are closed on Sunday, the day itself. More details to follow!!

New product/special alert!! This is Ruby’s take on a New York Club Sandwich. Three slices of granary bread, filled with fresh, crisp lettuce, grated cheese, cream cheese and pastrami in both layers finished off with some pickles and a mustard mayo pot. This one is definitely for the larger appetite! And at £9.50 per portion it’s great value too!

Being a tad warm whilst cooking in the kitchen today there was only one thing I craved….. an iced coffee! I’m not a milk lover so had more coffee than milk, just delicious!! ☀️🧋
