BRAVE conversations. BRAVE KIDS!
A 3-week evening course for parents of children from early years to pre-teens!
As parents, we all want to keep our children safe, but many of us weren't taught how to have some of the most important conversations. In today's world, we need to continually build our knowledge and confidence so we can support our children in age-appropriate, open, and empowering ways.
Together we'll explore topics such as:
✨ Using the correct names for body parts and talking confidently about genitalia
✨ Keeping children safe online and navigating the digital world
✨ Teaching healthy boundaries and helping children understand safe and unsafe touch
✨ Using age-appropriate language to discuss consent, privacy, and personal safety
✨ Creating open communication so children know they can always come to you
The course will be led by Vicki Shelvin The Safeguarding Collective TM, a safeguarding expert and social worker, alongside MotherZen, bringing together professional expertise and practical parenting support.
