Mari's delicious cake adventure began years ago in Romania and not in Great Britain as you may expect. She has been a helping hand in the kitchen for her grandmother since she was a child, baking miniature cakes from leftovers dough alongside her grandmother famous cakes. Mari’s passion for baking went further, later creating her cake receipts
where the traditional met a modern approach. No wonder why her grandfather was repeatedly telling her that one day will become a famous pastry chef. Mari developed further her skills at Caru’ cu Bere, by many considered a symbol of Bucharest, where she worked as a pastry chef for seven years. At Caru' cu Bere, her passion for great deserts met the demand for memorable pastry dishes delivered in a timely fashion manner. A pivotal point in Mari's career as a pastry chef was when she became Deputy Chef at Riviera restaurant under the supervision of Jakob Hausmann - Master in culinary art. Fast forward, Mari moved to the United Kingdom, where her cakes became known as the best choice for every celebration. Delicious Cakes shop was established in Connah Quai with a dream to make quality, made from scratch cakes using only the finest ingredients. The philosophy behind Mari’s work is to create tasty, visually appealing cakes everybody will talk about at your party.
