So I know I said I would give you an update on day 3…..
Sadly we had an RTA with one of our rider group, I won’t post any pictures of the casualty, but suffice to say, he is being air-ambulance back to USA having been in intensive care on a Moroccan hospital for 2 days with a dislocated hip (reset) and damaged vertebrae. No other life threatening injuries were sustained. My recent FBoS course (thanks ) and for those that have worked with me in the offshore sector my advanced aider skills kicked in and gave the casualty primary care before the ambulance came. Remember “ATMIST”, “AVPU” blood on the floor & 4 more? The challenge as always is you look around and wonder is there someone more competent than yourself…. most of the time, you are the one and must step in. Thank you to
