The Picnic Basket is a sandwich, salad and sweet treats bar located on the main street in Prestick, and will be under new ownership from the 2nd Nov we also have new menu's that will be available around this time. We will be offering you a huge, delicious selection of fillings & salad made fresh everyday, along with the finest home-made 'Soup of the day'

What you order is made for you on the spot

, and you can choose from wraps, rolls, toasted sandwiches, hot filled rolls or even 'Make your own salad box'

Of course if nothing catches your eye, please speak to a member of our team, and we will do our best to help you.

Morning troops, quick update on what's happening at the shop...

So we are close to completing all the legal stuff behind the scenes in order for us to hand over the keys to the new owners. We hope to be finished up in next 2 weeks all going well. We are however on holiday all next week so that means this week is potentially our last week trading.

Had a few messages and people asking about salads, we are able to continue selling them in the pizza boxes, so their available at the shop until they run out.

We will be open Monday to Friday, 9.30 till 3.30, so pop down and see us or call the shop to pre order 07708256036.

Again, thank you so much to all the people who have dropped off cards, presents and well wishes, we really appreciate it ❤️

Morning troops, just a wee reminder that we are closed tomorrow (Friday 4th) Open till 3.30pm today though 👍🏻 This will be the last chance for the salad lovers to grab one of our amazing salads. As next week is potentially our last week trading, then we will be reducing our menu to try and minimise waste.

So the last ever salad dressing will be - Pineapple, Chilli & Orange.

Falafel is Roasted Sweet Potato

Our soups today will be - Lentil & Ham or Sweet Potato, Chilli & Coconut 🌶️

We also have around 5 portions of mac n cheese left too, if your not fast your last 😁

Good morning all Picnic Basket lovers ❤️ Just a wee update to what's going on behind the scenes at the shop. As most of you know, we accepted an offer to sell our business around 6/7 weeks ago. We had hoped to have everything completed by September 1st, but there's still some work to be done.

We hope to have all the legal stuff tied up in the next couple of weeks, so we shall keep you all up to date, until then the shop will be open as normal 0930 till 1530 Monday to Friday.
