The search for a proper Italian espresso around Manchester inspired the first Lupo Caffe Italiano on Salford’s Chapel Street. Satisfying Italian lunches soon followed. Happily, six-months after opening we won Best Coffee Shop in Manchester. Our second venture is the Urban Splash development, Boat Shed, on Salford's Exchange Quay.

Today we had our independent wine supplier Simone from to visit us all the way from Piemonte to enjoy a nice lunch and obviously have a few bottles of wine.

We sampled "San Luigi" red wine with notes of blackberries and plum, almonds and spices which makes our antipasti and peperonata boom, also pairs well ideally with gnocchi di lupo . We could not not talk about their sparkling red chilled wines which definitely sparkle your day

Yes we finally got the gelato out

Also as you can see from the video we baked some super fluffy brioche to fill with gelato. Affogato of course and ice coffee is on the menu too 😎

We decided to extend our closing times and give you guys more opportunities to join us in the evening.
Wednesday and Thursday we will close at 9 o'clock
Friday and Saturday at 10 o'clock
