It is with deep sadness that the announcement is being made that The Green man will be closing on the 3rd of August 2025

Many factors can contribute to such a difficult decision, including rising costs, changing market conditions, and the challenges of maintaining a successful business.

However the truth is the premises have been sold and this has become common knowledge.

The new owners take over Oct 26 however the adverse effect it has had on trade makes it pointless for us to carry on

Our focus is now on putting all effort and time on our remaining pub The Eagle and Child in Garstang, by pushing it's trade and developing the B&B Facilities.We also look forward to starting a new chapter away from Inglewhite in our own personal lives

We want to thank all of our customers through the years, our suppliers and especially the staff new and old.

We've come along way in 9 years and we want to thank everyone for being with us and supporting us

Keep your eye on The Eagle and Child Garstang..... We feel a good food option may be coming in our well known style :)
