Good afternoon everyone, I hope you’re all enjoying the sunshine and great weather 😊

Can we ask that smokers go to the rear area of the pub to smoke, there is an ashtray mounted to the wall out there and a couple on the work tops. Also can you not use the tops of the kegs as ashtrays!

The pile of fag ends are what have accumulated over the past few days after I swept the alleyway.

We hope you’re all looking forward to field day tomorrow, fingers crossed for some great weather and a bit of sunshine.

Like many of the other bars and pubs in town, Chantelle and I have taken the decision to close early tomorrow evening. This means we will be calling last orders at 8:30pm with a view to lock up at 9pm.

We appreciate your understanding regarding this decision and are looking forward to seeing the vast majority of you throughout the day 😊
