NEXT WEEK! A tap take over from inimitable Kernel showcasing the versatility of the Citra hop; a darling of the craft beer scene for twenty years now.

In an age where new hops are being developed at a ridiculous pace, citra has staying power like no other and can deliver everything from juicy fruits, to crispy and zingy flavours. I used to hear regularly "none of that citrusy rubbish" from our more...distinguished customers, and even that demographic actively seeks it out these days.

So get excited for this celebration of citra and, of course, we've got some extra kegs and casks coming, too, because you can never have too much Kernel!

Banging cask line-up heading into the weekend. The, rarely seen round these parts, Motorhead Porter absolutely slaps - it's so nice having a porter on after a run of milds lasting months.

It has been a while since I've had an Elusive on, too - I guess it's in the name 😅

These guys are quickly becoming one of my go to breweries for easy drinking sours. We've had these in the fridge for a week now and they've been flying out; especially the lil' cherry sour that was especially popular in the heat.

BYOC: Bring your own cheese.

I'm so bloody excited to have this beer in stock; the house beer of one of my favourite bars in Bruges, De Garre. I can pretty much guarantee you'll struggle to find this anywhere else.

Quite simply, this is the best Belgian Tripel I have ever tried and is so dangerously drinkable that De Garre will cut you off after three, which is completely understandable as this 11% beast left me bouncing off the walls of the alleyway every time.

If you're taking it away, I thoroughly recommend drinking it with a young gouda (an Edam might suffice). While we do have a glass on premises, it is my own personal glass and it was bloody expensive, so you'll need to give us a £20 cash deposit - and absolutely no taking it outside!

When we didn't get a 2025 version of this beer I was really worried we wouldn't get another, imagine my excitement when I spotted their announcement for a 2026 version.

While being unable to legally call it a gueuze, this is essentially as close to a Scottish made gueuze as you can get; using yeast isolated from belgian brewers and using the same techniques, this beer is an excellent spotlight on just what you can do with yeast. Expect notes of tinned pineapple, apricot, peach, and zesty citrus coupled with Holy Goat's trademark funk.
