Preston Pub Fest is finally here! 🎉 And it's set to be a weekend full of incredible food, drink and entertainment across the city centre.

We've got a metric butt-load of amazing BEAK beers to share with you, and Simon's pies have already been going down an absolute storm; I must say, his mushies are marvelous! 😋

Forget Christmas! PPF has the best vibes of the year hands down. The amazing crowds we get understand what makes Preston's hospitality scene so special and always make it a weekend to remember! (so please drink responsibly)

Get it? Like Five Guys. because it's a list of Five Pies (and a sausage roll).

This menu isn't just for the weekend; it's all pies all week 🥧 We're bringing back a few classics, including the Vegan Chicken Balti pie. We toyed with doing the meat version, but the meat free chicken is so good, you really can't tell the difference.

For this week, and this week only, we're also offering a choice of garden and (homemade) mushy peas! We've had loads of comments over the years about this, so now's your chance 🥳 We're also offering sweet tattie mash with the Butter and Vegan Sausage and Bean 😋

It's worth noting - the kitchen will not be open until 5pm tonight due to the amount of prep Simon will need to do for the coming week.

There's not much left of this beast for those of you who like a cheeky impy...and it is bloody cheeky. My tasting notes would be 'as if someone made a nutella coffee that has been Frenched.'

If that's up your street get in quick, because I don't think this will last the week!

This might be the best sour I've tried in ages. Made in collaboration with this is a take on a classic Scottish dessert made with raspberries, honey, cream, and wh**ky. I think this is the first time I've had a smoothie sour that has been barrel aged (Speyside casks), and it really works. It's subtle, I'd probably have given it longer in the barrel, but I'm a wh**ky fiend 😅

We've got some delights pouring at the moment. We've gone a bit old school by having the classic Citra from Oakham. There's a lovely couple of easy table beers on cask and keg of those being sensible, and a rather naughty barrel aged hazelnut coffee stout from Tartarus for those who aren't 🍻

As the TTO beers start being swapped for our normal rotation of bangers, those of you who weren't able to make it last weekend will be glad to know we've still got an excellent selection of cans in the fridge. Including ;Two Flints' first ever smoothie sour, the RIvvy & Newbarns collab bitter, and even some cheeky wee AF cans from Newbarns for those of you more sensible than I 🤣

Watching the announcements of the events from our partner venues has us pumped; Preston Pub Festival is around the corner, and we can't wait to take part! 

Speaking of. We're welcoming back BEAK again this year who will be deligting us by demonstrating exactly why they're masters of the style when it comes to hazies, loads of Dest (arguably one of the best UK craft la**rs), loads of cans, and, should everything go to plan this year (😅), we might finally be able to get cask Lulla back on the pumps 🎉 

As always, we're stripping back both our service, and our menu, by delivering nowt but match-day style pie and mash (or chips, if you're that way inclined). The menu is yet to be finalised, but I can tell you there's going to be new and old. People have clamoured for one paticular item for years, and we're finally letting the people have it. But only for a weekend. TBA ;)
