Pinocchio’s Restaurant is a listed building situated in Walton-le-Dale Preston, the site from which Oliver Cromwell conducted the battle of Preston in 1648. Newly refurbished, Pinocchio’s is air conditioned throughout and boasts a light and spacious bar area while the open kitchen adds theatre to the dining experience. The Restaurant is modern in style boasting an eclectic mixture of design using

materials such as marble and glass, which remain tastefully in keeping with the buildings traditional features such as the17th century iron and brass fireplace and the original wood beams. No longer the centre of a battlefield, Pinocchio’s has been family owned and run for over two decades now and is the perfect setting for a quick lunch or a long relaxing dining experience.

Unfortunately, the reopening of Pinocchio’s has been delayed further.

Due to matters out of our control the restaurant will not be ready in time for Christmas as anticipated.

Although almost all works are now complete, we are still awaiting some key equipment for the kitchen air handling system, without which we cannot open. As a result we will now be reopening early 2025.

We look forward to welcoming you all back in the New Year.

Although slightly later than we would have liked due to technical issues…we have started work and will be welcoming you back through our doors in mid 2024! We can’t wait to see you all again soon 👋 UPDATE we have only just received planning consent to make the necessary alterations to the plant room to accommodate the equipment that requires replacing due to the fire, rest assured we are working behind the scenes to ensure we reopen as soon as possible!

We're looking forward to welcoming the incredibly talented Victor Yu of Yu Copster Green to The Italian Orchard Charity Summer Ball on Wednesday 14th June, celebrating our 38th birthday.

Joining us for an evening of entertainment, drinks and great food, he'll be preparing a course of half lobster with ginger and spring onion, soy and glass noodles 👌

All of this in aid of an extremely good cause, Rosemere Cancer Foundation.

Dinner is served at 7pm with carriages at 1am.
