Preston Pub Fest is coming and so is Micropub Adventures!

Friday evening and Saturday I’ll be heading over to Preston for the Preston Pub Festival 2026! 🍻
The festival takes place across pubs and bars throughout the city rather than in one single venue, with each place putting on something different across the weekend. There’s a brilliant mix of tap takeovers, special beer line-ups, food and other events, making it a great excuse to explore Preston’s pub scene.
I’ll be starting on Friday evening with Old Black Bull, PLAU, Black Horse and Chain House Brewing Co. There’s plenty happening along the way too, including “Beer But Not As You Know It” at PLAU, a Green Duck tap takeover at Black Horse and kegs from Kyiv at Chain House.
Saturday will be a much bigger day, with visits planned to The Old Vic, The Continental, Winckley Street Ale House, Plug & Taps, Wings & Beer Co, Bar Pintxos, Orchard, Winedown, Guild Ale House and Moorbrook.
There’s loads happening across those stops, including The Continental going to Ireland, a Beak tap takeover and special pie menu at Winckley Street, “Gone Birding” at Plug & Taps, a Lancaster Brewery tap takeover at Wings & Beer Co, Spanish beers and “Pour It High” at Bar Pintxos, a Polish tap takeover at Orchard, Winetober Fest at Winedown, a Harvey’s tap takeover at Guild Ale House and a Nano Brewery Showcase at Moorbrook.
It should be a cracking couple of days exploring Preston, visiting a really varied selection of pubs and getting stuck into everything the festival has going on. If you see me out and about over the weekend, feel free to come over and say hello! 🍺
