Need to order another shelf from ikea. I had more than I thought.

I finally got around to putting all of these up. So as soon as you walk in you can see them. 😀

For years I've focused on quality and consistency. Going forward i still want to do the same. This is why we keep selling out of things so often at the moment. We just don't have the storage space!

Last night fish were looking fantastic. Apologies if I didn't get chance to lift my head last night to say hi. I was under tremendous pressure. I was particularly keen to not burn anything! 😁

We've seen massive increases in customers this last few weeks! Particularly Friday nights, every online slot has sold out for Friday evenings, generally i advise to order before 3pm on Fridays just because they fill so fast.

We will be fully stocked next week. We managed to keep full availability all night even on the products we removed off the Internet which is fantastic!

Today was an absolute madhouse, but we couldn’t let the day end without giving a proper send-off to James!

After two fantastic years at The Contented Sole, James is heading off to start his new career. He’s been an absolute legend behind the counter and was one of the key members of our award-winning team, helping us set the standards for what we do best. It’s been an absolute pleasure having you with us, James, and the team truly won’t be the same without you!

While we’re gutted to see him go, the family legacy continues—his younger brother is already on the team carrying the torch!

James, thank you for all your hard work, the laughs, and for helping us power through legendary rushes like today. We wish you the absolute best of luck in your new chapter. You’ll always be part of the family! 🐟🍟

We've had some lovely customers already this week. I had a gent pop his head back on after eating his tea in the car and sharing it with his wife. He said that was worth every penny, a lovely treat, it was delicious and it was worth the 15 mile drive. ❤️ we love when people travel and we always try to acknowledge it! This person told me he travelled that far just before closing time so I had the time to interact and make conversation..Big smile on my face. BIG SMILE ON HIS FACE. 😀
