We weren’t quite ready to let you leave.

So, a little something sweet is on the table: our meadowsweet & chicory choux bun. Delicate, rich, and finished with a little crunch, the sort of final bite that makes “just one more” feel entirely reasonable.

On the tasting menu, or with teas & coffees on the set menu.

Go on, stay for the sweet stuff 😉

One of our new favourites. Basil parfait, sweetcorn custard, blackberry juice split with basil oil, a brown butter crumble and corn flowers.

Seasonal, a little unexpected and very very good.

Spoiling you with something new at the table.

Roasted lamb loin and fillet, hispi cabbage, broccoli purée, mint vinegar gel, black garlic ketchup and watercress salsa verde, served alongside our take on a Lancashire classic, a suet rag pudding filled with slow-braised lamb shoulder and finished with extra lamb sauce.

A little nod to tradition, a little something different, and quite a lot of lamb. 🐑

The chefs have been at it again.

A few new dishes, a few new twists and some rather excellent additions to the tasting menu. Because apparently the old favourites weren’t keeping them busy enough! 😉

So, naturally, there’s only one thing left to do: come and taste the new menu for yourself.

Consider this your very official invitation to dinner. We’ll leave the judgement to you.

Back at the pass with 🐟

New fish dish, straight onto the tasting menu. Seabass with courgette purée, relish and compressed ribbons, finished with fennel pollen beurre blanc and seaweed foam 🙌

The heatwave called for a little more heat 🌶️

One of our customer favourites. Our beef tartare with Aven hot sauce. Made by fermenting chillies with Hen of the Woods mushrooms, alongside wild garlic capers, croutons, wood sorrel, nasturtiums & smoked heart.

Finished with beer vinegar, wild garlic powder and grated smoked heart.

Already feeling the heat? Might as well lean into it 🔥
