May… what a month it was!

Our team redistributed the equivalent of 242,081 meals across Lancashire and Cumbria, supporting 151 different groups. This hard work meant that 101 tonnes of food was kept from going to waste! 🍏

We know that the impact these groups create using the food we provide, will have been nothing short of incredible for so many for people in need.

A new team member, Kris - he's Regional Academy Manager for our prison-based workshops - joined us for a few weeks over at our redistribution centre. He helped in the warehouse, allocating food as well as driving a FareShare van to help deliver food to charities around Cumbria. Thank you, Kris, for your brilliant help and support! 💚

More good news… one of our residential programme residents joined us at the food redistribution centre for a few weeks throughout May, too. They took to the road and drove one of our FareShare vans, also delivering food to charities around Cumbria.

We're so grateful for the hard work, efforts and help we’ve received this month. 👏
