🍂 Autumn has arrived at The Buttered Crumpet! 🎃

We’ve been busy getting the café ready for autumn over the last few days, adding a few seasonal touches to make the place feel that little bit cosier! 🍁

With the colder mornings creeping in, there’s no better excuse to pop in, grab a coffee and enjoy some good food.

We’re really happy with how it’s all looking and hope you lot like it as much as we do!

A well-deserved night out for the TBC team! 🥂🤍

We’ll be closed this Sunday 23rd August while we get everyone together for a proper staff do after a very busy few months — and to give our lovely Grace the send-off she deserves before she heads back to university. 🎓✨

She’s been a huge part of the team and we couldn’t let her go without raising a few glasses first! 🥂

Thank you as always for your understanding and for keeping us so busy. We’ll be back open as normal on Tuesday 25th August! ☕️🤍

6 months ago, the 3 of us took a chance and opened the doors to The Buttered Crumpet.

Today, we’re celebrating half a year in business, and honestly, we still can’t believe what it’s become.

What started as a simple idea has grown into something far bigger than we ever imagined, and that’s entirely down to the amazing support we’ve had from our customers, friends, family, and the local community.

Whether you’ve popped in once or visit us every week, thank you. Every coffee, every crumpet, every recommendation and every kind word has helped us get to this point.

We’re incredibly proud of what we’ve built, but even more grateful for the people who’ve helped make it happen.

Here’s to the next 6 months. ❤️
