A huge thank you to everyone for bearing with us while I disappeared into a world of boxes, bubble wrap and wondering why on earth we own so much stuff?! 😂📦

But normal service has resumed 🙌

The Lounge is back open and the kitchen is back too! 🍳🥪☕️

🚨 Official Lounge announcement 🚨

The boss has done a runner. Well — technically it's called "annual leave," but we're calling it what it is.

So The Lounge will be closed this Friday and Saturday while Lindsey swans off!

Same Lounge, same lovely cocktails — just a couple of days without us. We will be back open on Tuesday 21st. Miss you already.

COOK WANTED.

We’re looking to hire a reliable, capable cook to join the kitchen team at The Lounge in Poulton-le-Fylde.
This is not a role for someone who just “likes cooking”. We need someone who can work cleanly, stay calm under pressure, and turn up consistently.
What we offer:
A calm, supportive kitchen environment
No shouting, no toxic kitchen culture
Flexible working where possible
A friendly team and straightforward way of working
A role in a busy, well-liked local venue
The chance to join a kitchen that values consistency, standards and respect.
What we need:
Experience working in a busy kitchen
Good standards with prep, service, cleanliness and organisation
Someone reliable, fast and able to work as part of a team
Weekend availability is essential
Comfortable working across breakfast, lunch and evening service if needed.
