โ˜€๏ธ Over the last 6 weeks, weโ€™ve been running our Lobster Rolls as a special on a first come, first served basis, and judging by the reaction, it was pretty clear we couldnโ€™t let them disappear.

So for everyone who has managed to grab one already, youโ€™ll be glad to hear theyโ€™ve officially earned their place on our new summer menu.

๐Ÿšฃโ€โ™€๏ธ Every lobster is delivered straight from a local fishing boat, brought literally across the road to Ebb, where our chef works his magic and turns it into one of the freshest, most refreshing dishes on the menu.

We know lobster can feel a little fancy for some peopleโ€ฆ but honestly, once youโ€™ve tried one, youโ€™ll understand why so many people have already been back for a second round.

Schools are out, the town is buzzing, the sky is blue (behind the rainclouds), that can only mean one thing.
We are in for a busy two months!

We would love it if you could all wish our chef Derek the happiest of birthdays!

He holds the fort at Ebb, but helps out in all our ventures like Phat Events, Chipmongers and most recently The Salty Cow.
If you have eaten with us since Dereks been here, you will know that having a proper chef is what sets us apart.
He has a passion for local produce, doesn't overwork dishes and impresses us on a daily basis, not only with his cooking, but he is a master of the banter as well!

From all at Ebb and the extended family, we want to wish him the happiest of birthdays, even though he kept it quiet, we found out in the end.

We wont talk numbers, but he's one year closer to his bus pass!!

๐Ÿ‘จโ€๐Ÿณ Chef Derek had us down last week to sample some of the new dishes that are landing on the new ebb Summer menu.

This man never fails to impress us, as the pictures clearly show. ๐Ÿ‘Œ

This is exactly what sets ebb apart from some other places. Everything is expertly crafted in house by a proper time served chef, using fresh ingredients and culinary wisdom.

People always suggest we do things like Red Bull Infusions, Dirty Sodas etc. and whilst we have nothing against these things, we find it better to use the talents in house to create something that you won't find anywhere else.

We are just awaiting the new menus from the printers and we will be good to go, keep following and you'll be the first to know!

Not everyone will be aware, but our owners have taken over The Inn On The Coast bar and restaurant and will be opening their latest venture, The Salty Cow this coming Thursday.

Albeit a very different venture to us here at Ebb, the same values will apply of using as many local suppliers as possible, keeping standards sky high and providing an experience that keeps you coming back.

It is also dog friendly, with great views, live entertainment at weekends and loads of car parking. ๐Ÿ™

Do your tastebuds a favour and give the page a follow, they has a "different" approach to social media than us, and it's entertaining to say the least!

As the schools start to wrap up for the summer, and the Air BnBs fill up with folk here to explore our end of the country, we are primed and ready to serve our visitors and regulars alike.

The summer menu should go live later next week, with new drinks and dishes to get you through these busy two months, and the staff are looking forward to meeting some new faces as well!
