A New Chapter for The Keppels Head Hotel 🥂

I've got some exciting news to share about the direction we're taking at Keppel's Head Hotel.

Over the past year, we've seen more and more interest in hosting private functions, celebrations, and events in our spaces overlooking Portsmouth's historic waterfront, this has inspired us to lean fully into what we do best, creating exceptional experiences for groups.

From now on, our restaurant will be available exclusively for pre-booked private groups of 10 or more. You already know us for fab food and service, now that's where our full focus will be. Thoughtfully planned menus, dedicated staff, and food prepared specifically for your gathering, with far less waste along the way. Whether it's a celebration, a corporate gathering, or a special occasion with friends and family, we want every group booking to feel genuinely tailored to you.

Our last day open as a walk in restaurant will be Saturday 26th, so if you'd like one final visit before we move into this new chapter, we'd love to see you. After that, we're excited to welcome you back for pre-booked group events.

Of course, we're still very much open as a hotel, with breakfast served daily for our guests. ☕

We're also excited to be opening up our spaces even further for pop-up partnerships. We've loved having Shroom as part of our Keppel's Head family, bringing their incredible unique plant based Sunday Roast to Portsmouth once a month, we're excited to welcome more pop-ups and collaborations into the space going forward.

This new direction lets us focus on what we love most: bringing people together for memorable events in one of Portsmouth's most beautiful waterfront settings.

Did you know about our plant based popup??

Shroom on Sunday🍄

Once a month the creative Lucy Bridgewater takes over our Captains Table restaurant to host her unique plant based roast dinner.

It's been a wonderful colaberation which has worked well for both of us. We love giving a pop up a permenant base to showcase their delicious food abd it helps us raise awareness of our beautiful hotel.
This Sunday 13th Septenber is when you can enjoy Lucy's roasts with all the trimmings, You can scan the QR code on the leaflet to book.

These are the dates for the rest of the year with a Xmas one to be announced, 18th October and 22nd November.

If you are a pop up or know anyone that has one and may be interested in hosting a regular afternoon or evening please get in touch we would love to hear from you.
