Some dishes just know how to make an entrance. ๐Ÿ”ฅ

Shown here is our Chicken Tikka Shashlik... marinated overnight in aromatic spices, then cooked in the tandoor for tender, smoky, beautifully charred chicken.

And thatโ€™s just one of the stars from Portsmouthโ€™s favourite tandoori selection. With plenty of options, thereโ€™s something for everyone.

Each dish is traditionally marinated and then cooked in the tandoor oven to then be served sizzling straight to your table over onions and peppers!

Will you be trying one on your next visit? ๐Ÿ‘€

A look back at a proud day for Spice Merchants. ๐Ÿ‘จ๐Ÿฝโ€๐Ÿณ ๐Ÿค

Last week, we headed to Cambridge for the Asian Restaurant & Takeaway Awards Cook-Off as the only restaurant from Portsmouth to make the shortlist.

Head Chef Shahid prepared a King Prawn starter dish followed by a standout main course of Shahi Lamb Chops for the judges.

It was a fantastic experience for everyone involved. Well done to all the other finalists, and a big thank you to ARTA for having us! ๐Ÿ‘

Now we waitโ€ฆ
Results coming soon. ๐Ÿ†

The only restaurant from Portsmouth to make the list. ๐Ÿ‘

And so, this Monday, 7th September our chefs will be travelling to Cambridge to compete in the ARTA Grand Cook-Off against the other finalists, where they will be showcasing their skills through some signature dishes. ๐Ÿ‘จโ€๐Ÿณ

Wishing our chefs the best of luck! And meanwhile weโ€™ll still be open as usual back here in Portsmouth.
