Hola Mon Petit Angelitas,

Being multilingual in some strange way (maybe less so conventionally linguistically gifted) we wish to reflect on things and indeed stuff.

We closed for a lil break.
We will return.
We will return theoretically better rested.
We had a nice time.
We are very grateful for your support.
We have enjoyed serving you warm juice as well as cold juice and fun juice and all the juices in between.
We have also enjoyed sharing delicious solids with you too.

Honestly though, thanks again. Hospo is difficult as you may have read somewhere. (It is actually true and not just a wee jape). You guys make it worthwhile. You guys make it work. (As do our great team).

Lots more delicious solids and liquids in the post, possibly accompanied by other things and stuff.

Anyway, before I get vaguely sentimental.

Took a bit of wrangling sorting the old nights...

I won't bore you with the details but it took about 5 plus years to put into motion. And I really love it!

Playing with amazing produce, working more closely with producers like to share more delicious bread and to bring good people together over some conscious food and drinks to enjoy flavour, friendship and shared experience.

With that all in we are proud to work directly with and more to bring you wines produced with as much thought and care as the coffee, bakes and food we've always celebrated.

More on that later, but for now, if you'd like to get amongst it, we're slinging plates every Thursday- Sat now til Christmas (brunch everyday) and some more dates after (check out earlier post).

Delighted to share all the lovely traders that will be joining us on Wednesday 17th December for our annual Christmas Twilight Market.

It's a bit earlier this year but this night is absolutely spilling over with good vibes and Christmas Spirit and always marks the proper in the swing of the season for me anyway.

Always a pleasure to share the evening with a diverse mix of Independent Businesses run by people with Hearts and Hands and amazing talents, passion and skills.

We will be slinging our homemade Mince Pies and Bakes along with Mulled wine, Orange and Cardamom Hot Chocolate, Mulled Plum and Apple steamers and more.

We will have a great selection of retail coffee and brew kit for additional gifts and will be pouring some tasty Natural Wines all to a Festive soundtrack that I promise won't contain any more than 1 Bob Dylan Christmas song.

Double dropping posts means only one thing;

1. I promised a Christmas nights post and I wouldn't lie to yis

2. There's stuff happening

3. I'm a liar, I said one thing then said more already.

The drill is; we're open some extra nights for all yer escape the house, don't really like yer family, allergic to the pets, remember that thing called fun, reunion, family get-together or general libatious grazing needs. We'll keep a couple of tables for walkins but strongly recommend emailing or dm-ing to book (email in the button thing on our profile). Might do a late service on NYE but will tell yis more about that in the next few days.

Fun plates, big tastes, all Natural wine list with some special bottles of wine and aged beers from the cellar appearing. Some new pours by the glass and some new cocktails for the season that's in it.

Will tell you about the market soon too. (two posts in a day after several months without any is probably already overkill.)

Have a couple of new off menu dishes this weekend that we're pretty chuffed with if you fancy a surprise and the Beef Cheeks are back for some hearty eating action. (dm to book-Santa is switching on the lights on Saturday)

As much as it pains me to be organised...

I'm sorta organised. (don't stress, I'm not actually organised and you don't need to worry and I'm happy to be here to make you all feel better relative to organisational comparisons) (I have 4 to do lists).

I wrote down some Christmas dates and Greg made me a nice tile to help you plan your hangover brunches, catch ups, warm juices and Christmas Caffeine.

I'll tell yis more about the Night Market soon, suspense and all that. I'll also tell you more about our Festive nights schedule (we've squeezed in a few more).

For now; dinnay go mental buying sh*te, I know Jeff Bezos made it easy but it really is lovely popping into local shops. Indies fo lyf! Sure no one likes the crap presents you buy anyway but they absolutely love your craic. In short; don't stress the small or big stuff; enjoy a healthy dose of denial, try and find some wee moments ye like yourself and as an auld boy once said to me

"it'll not be the doughnut that gets you, it'll be the worrying about it"

Plenty of class bags of coffee dropping between now and Santa and we're always happy to help recommend, grind and generally assist in all home coffee treats all times of year.
