6 months of The Wee Greek Baker! Honestly, I can’t quite believe it.

Six months of early mornings, flour everywhere, a lot of baking, a lot of coffee, and most importantly, so many lovely people coming through my door.

You’ve supported my wee bakery more than I could have hoped for, and I’m so grateful for every visit, every order, every recommendation and every kind word.
And now I’m wondering… what would you like to see from me next?

More bread? Sourdough? Viennoiserie? More savoury things? Something completely different?

Tell me what you’d love to see on the counter. I’m listening.

Calling on a bit of Skye magic…

Unfortunately my car decided to give up on me today and is currently off the road. I’m hoping it’s nothing too major, but until it’s repaired I’m trying to find a way to get between home and The Wee Greek Baker over the next couple of days.

If anyone has a small car available to hire, or knows of one locally, I’d be incredibly grateful if you could get in touch.

As a small business, I still need to get to the bakery each day, so any leads would be hugely appreciated.

A wee heads up!

The Wee Greek Baker will be closed on Saturday 1st & Monday 3rd August while I take a wee break.

With lots of new faces around here lately, I thought I should probably introduce myself properly. I’m Io, owner, baker, dishwasher, coffee maker and professional overthinker behind The Wee Greek Baker.
After years of chefing, baking for cafés, and borrowed kitchens, I finally opened my own wee space in Broadford and somehow turned the “one day maybe” idea into a real shop. The Wee Greek Baker is all about good coffee, comforting food, Greek influence, everything being plant based, lots of gluten free options, and making people feel welcome when they walk through the door. Soft, pillowy tsoureki(sweet bread) with that unmistakable mastiha aroma, finished with indulgent chestnut and white chocolate🤤. Definitely one to run in for before it’s gone!
