PORTLAND PEOPLE - WE'RE HAVING A PARTY 🎉🏆

The PUKL after party & prize giving is landing at Ocean Breeze Bar this Saturday from 6.30pm!

And yes...The Butler is getting behind the decks and blazing tunes all night long 🎶🔥

🍔 Food is on as normal - and as a bonus we might even have some bacon & sausage baps doing the daytime rounds 👀

🍹Cocktails - will be on...BUT if the place goes absolutely feral, they may have to take a temporary back seat while we keep up with the demand. We'll keep them coming wherever humanly possible!

So come down, celebrate with the PUKL crew, lose your dignity and generally have a bloody good night with us.

Join us at Ocean Breeze Bar on Thursday 8th October at 6.30pm for a general knowledge pub quiz covering Portland history, music, pop culture, general nonsense and whatever else we've decided to throw in there.

👥 Teams: 2 people minimum. No maximum.
💵 Entry: £2 per person.
🏆 Prize: The more people who enter, the bigger the prize pot.

Bring your friends. Bring your rivals. Bring that one person who somehow knows the capital of every country but can't remember where they left their keys.

We've put it in an espresso martini.

Then added RumChata.

Then dunked the rim in dark chocolate + biscoff.

Creamy.
Coffee-y.
Boozy.
Ridiculously moreish.

The forecast says sunshine this Saturday, and quite frankly, we're choosing to believe it with every fibre of our being.

In what seems like a very sensible response, we're putting the Southwave's The Butler & FLX out on the decking from 6.30pm for one last little love letter to the summer.

There'll be cocktails
There'll be smash burgers
There'll be music loud enough to make you forget that you've thought about putting on your heating recently.

Even if you have absolutely no idea what you're doing, we're opening the mic up for a night of music, laughs and hopefully a few moments of "Bloody hell, they're actually good."

🎤 Spaces are limited and SIGN-UP IS REQUIRED.

If you want in, just hit us up on the socials or come and find us at the bar and get your name down.

Don't leave it until the last minute and then stand there dramatically telling everyone how you NEARLY performed.

He's off to start a cafe with his family and we wish him all the luck in the world.

We'll give him three weeks before he's googling "how to escape your own business" 😂

After becoming one of our most recognisable faces behind the bar Lawrence AKA Curly is off to join his family in starting their very own cafe.

We're gutted to lose him, but incredibly proud of everything he's done with us. So before we reluctantly let him go we're throwing him a proper leaving do.

So come and join us in giving him the biggest, loudest and most cheerful send off we possibly can.

Tomorrow night, the brilliant Rob Davis is back with his guitar and a cracking acoustic set.

The smash burgers will be doing their deliciously messy thing from 3-8pm.
The drinks will be flowing.
The cocktails will contain fruit, so technically they're healthy 😁
