📣 IT’S OFFICIAL 📣

Introducing One Row Live It, our World’s Toughest Row Atlantic rowing team of 2026 🎉

This year we’re sponsoring brother and sister duo Louis and Giorgia as they take on the huge challenge of rowing unsupported across the Atlantic Ocean this December. From South Yorkshire, they have a family history in horses and equine care which is reflected in their logo.

We first met them last Summer whilst we were giving out our free Dinky Doughbuns, then bumped into them again in La Gomera as we were all soaking up the atmosphere of the 2025 race preparations. Something just clicked, and whilst we felt they were going to be our chosen team, it’s taken a long time to catch up with them again and make our offer!

We can’t wait to see how they do in the race and follow their progress. We’ll be supporting them in the coffee shop with their fundraising with a charity pot on the counter, as they’ll be raising money for RNLI , Alzheimer's Research UK UK, RoR and . We hope you all get behind us in supporting them and wishing them the best of luck.

An exciting day at The Beehive as we’ve been asked to host .toughest.row pre-shipping boat inspections. We’ll have four boats visiting us throughout the day to have all of their kit checked before being signed off for transit to La Gomera.

Parking spaces to the back of Victoria Building have been closed off to allow for the boats to move around safely. Pop on down and take a look at these incredible vessels!

Yesterday we welcomed a very special visitor. Sam Culley is walking the South West Coast path and raising funds for Mountain Rescue.

He called in for lunch (on the house, obviously!) and once he’d eaten we sent him on his way with some Portland Dough Buns for the road!

With the amazing support of our customers and staff we have been able to donate £1000 to which will be going directly to .

Our Christmas Day donations and charity pot collected an incredible £620.80 and The Beehive contributed a further £379.20 to make it a nice round number. We know this money will help to make a difference to the children and families who are supported by the hospice and we would like to extend our thanks to everyone who supported this cause.

A huge well done to Ben and Henry who completed the row 🚣🏻

Now to look ahead to 2026 teams 👀
