A little bit of Sidoli’s history on two wheels 🇮🇹🏴🚴
A massive thank you to some of our wonderful regulars down at the kiosk, who have gone one step further and created their very own Sidoli’s cycling jerseys! Safe to say, we absolutely love them. 💙
A huge thank you also has to go to George Schofield at GS Design & Co for bringing the idea to life. The design takes its inspiration from a story that will be familiar to so many Welsh-Italian families — our roots back in Italy and, in particular, the area around Bardi and Bardi Castle , a small village in northern Italy that has incredibly strong links with the Welsh-Italian community.
Those same roots form part of the Sidoli story too. The Sidoli family, who started Sidoli’s in Maesteg Caerau before settling in Porthcawl, are part of that Welsh-Italian story -and generations later, it’s pretty special to see that heritage celebrated on a cycling jersey here in Porthcawl. 🇮🇹❤️🏴
