Due to the continued increase in the cost of fish, potatoes, cooking oil and other supplies — alongside the recent increase in minimum wage — we have unfortunately had to make a small increase to our prices in store.

We have tried our best to keep changes to a minimum while continuing to provide the quality, portions and service you know and love.

We truly appreciate all of your continued support, loyalty and understanding, especially during difficult times for small businesses. Thank you for continuing to support local ❤️

Everyone at The Frying Cod is deeply saddened by the passing of our dear friend Carol Leigh. 💔

Although Carol was part of the Morrisons family. From the very beginning she supported us, looked after us and became like family to all of us at The Frying Cod.

Her kindness, warmth and friendly face meant so much not only to our team, but to everyone around her. She always had time for people and brought light wherever she went.

We are truly devastated by this loss and our thoughts and prayers are with her family, friends and everyone who loved her.

Thank you for all the memories, Carol. You will never be forgotten and will always hold a special place in our hearts. Rest peacefully ❤️
