Dating back to 1822, The Priory has served food and drink all its life, starting out as a Hotel. More recently, underground passages were found beneath the building which link it to Portbury Monastery. This suggests monks may have used these tunnels to hide during times of persecution. After a bite to eat with us, why not make a day of it and discover whatโ€™s beyond our walls, including the sea of bluebells in Priorโ€™s Wood and nearby Windmill Hill.
