💙🥖Well that was emotional💙🥖

Helen Thomas has hung her apron up after 11 years in charge. It’s been emotional with business changes, covid, cancer and family passings but she has fought and deserves the break that’s coming. 👊👌

The good thing that she has achieved is taking the business to new customers whilst treating the regular like a family. Providing high quality products for low costs even when the world around us pushed other small businesses into receivership or putting their prices up. 💙

In this time it has been a pleasure to sponsor sports teams and individuals from a number of sports and provide raffle prizes when need for charitable events. Our aim has always been to help our community and look after friends. I think we achieved this.

💙💙It’s been hard but we managed to keep and increase our customer base and we hand the business over to the same staff that have been with us so no drop in service so please keep coming and enjoying our food and buffets.💙💙

Thank you finally to all the customers over the 11 years and to the fantastic staff that we have had the pleasure to employ and work with. You know who you all are.

Never say never and we may see you again but in the meantime don’t change your eating habits as the only change is Helen leaving.

Apologies to all our customers but we are closed tomorrow due to a family bereavement.

The weekend Helen Thomas lost her father after a period of illness.

Just to let you know we are closed Friday and back open on Wednesday. CLOSED TUESDAY.

We will be in the shop during this period as we have some large outside catering to be done so please do not knock the door asking for a roll or pastie as you may not like the response from the team. 🖕

Not only have we been at maximum capacity and closed Tuesday and Wednesday we now have to shut tomorrow (Thursday). Unless you have previously ordered you will not be able to order. No walk-ins or phone orders sorry.

We are open Friday morning and then closed for 2 weeks.

Your support the last 3 weeks have truly overwhelmed the team and we cannot believe the love and orders we have had. To shut the shop for 4.5 days due to being at maximum capacity is something else. We love you all.
