❤️ THE DOCKS CAFÉ – CLOSED TODAY & TOMORROW ❤️

Good morning everyone! 👋

Just a little update to let you know that The Docks Café will be CLOSED today (Saturday) and tomorrow (Sunday).

Kodi has been home from the Army for a short visit and is heading back Sunday morning, so we’ve decided to take the weekend off and make the most of the little bit of family time we have left with him before he goes back. 🪖❤️

We hope you all understand, and we apologise to anyone who was planning on joining us this weekend.

Family time is important, and the café will still be there when we’re back! 😊

Firstly, we just want to say a huge thank you to everyone for your understanding yesterday. 🙏

We’re genuinely sorry that we had to close at such short notice and we apologise to everyone we let down, especially those who had plans to visit us or had already booked.

Unfortunately, sometimes things happen that are completely out of our control, and when it comes to family health, family has to come first. ❤️

The messages, comments and understanding we received meant so much to us and reminded us just how amazing our customers and local community are. 🥰

But today we’re back and ready to go! 🙌☕🍳

Unfortunately, due to a family medical emergency, The Docks Cafe will be CLOSED tomorrow, Sunday 16th August.

We’re really sorry for the short notice and any inconvenience this may cause, especially to everyone who has already pre-booked their Sunday lunch.

❤️ Everyone who has pre-booked a Sunday lunch for tomorrow will receive their Sunday lunch NEXT WEEK for HALF PRICE as our way of apologising.

☀️ Due to the current heatwave, we have taken the decision to close tomorrow, Tuesday 26th May, and will reopen as normal on Wednesday.

After an absolutely incredible weekend and Bank Holiday, we feel it’s important to give our hardworking staff a well deserved chance to rest and recharge. ❤️

Anyone who works in a kitchen knows this heat is definitely no fun! 🔥🥵
