Nearly 2 years ago I was diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthiritis (RA). This is an autoimmune condition which affects the muscles and joints. As well as joint stiffness, pain and swelling, this condition increases fatigue and brain fog and can also affect other organs. These factors affect my ability to carry out normal everyday tasks. One of the things I find most difficult with this condition is how the symptoms change every day, so you never know what to expect or how you will feel. At the moment there is no cure and nearly half a million people in the UK are living with RA.

However, with medications, treatment, lifestyle changes and support, every day life can start to feel a bit easier. I’m so grateful now to have my own business , I can take breaks and control the amount of work I take on which has made a huge difference. Now I would like to raise money to support this charity to increase the awareness of not just Rheumatoid Arthritis, but other chronic illnesses and autoimmune diseases.
