We’ll be closed at the Fisherman’s Cafe on Sunday 23rd August as we’re delighted to be catering at the RNLI Poole Lifeboat Station Open Day! 🚤❤️

Come and join us from 10:30am for a fantastic day of fun, whilst helping raise essential funds for our local RNLI station.

I just wanted to share a little personal thought... 💛

As most of you know, I absolutely love my little café. I love serving great food, meeting new people and, most of all, making people smile. I think that passion has rubbed off on my amazing team too, and I'm so proud of them every single day.

We genuinely love reading your reviews. The lovely ones make our day, and the constructive ones help us improve, because we're always striving to be better.

I'll admit, I do take reviews to heart. If someone leaves unhappy, it genuinely upsets me because I always want everyone to leave with a smile. But I'm only human, and sometimes mistakes happen. When they do, I put on my big girl pants, take the feedback on board and do my best to make things right.

The only thing I ask is this... if something isn't quite right, please tell us while you're with us. We can't fix a problem if we don't know about it, and sadly we haven't mastered mind-reading just yet! 😊 We'd much rather have the chance to sort things out there and then than read about it later in a review.

Thankfully, those situations are few and far between, and we're so grateful for the kindness and support our little independent café receives every day. It really does mean the world to us. ❤️

Honestly, it still makes me nervous every single time—just like being back at school! It doesn't matter how many inspections you've had or how much you do everything by the book, those butterflies never seem to go away.

The good news... another ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ hygiene rating! 🎉

A little R&R for Mike and me on our day off! We enjoyed a few hours out on the water with our good friends Malcolm and Chrissy aboard the fantastic Chopsea Charters boat.

It was a bit breezy, but we still had a great morning fishing, with plenty of laughs, banter, and entertainment. Great company, great fun, and a perfect way to spend some time off. Thanks for another memorable trip! 🎣⛵😊
