We first opened in Cornwall in 1986.
That means we've been part of this county through the decline of the tin mining industry. Through the rise of Cornish food culture. Through the explosion of tourism. Through a pandemic that shut every café, restaurant and hotel we supply.
And here we are.
What's changed in 40 years of Cornish hospitality? A lot. The expectations are higher. The coffee knowledge is greater. The speciality market has arrived, and Cornish businesses have embraced it beautifully.
What hasn't changed? The sense that this place is different. That people who run businesses here do it because they love Cornwall, not just because it's profitable. That there's a genuine care for doing things properly - for their customers, their community, their environment.
We feel the same way.
