Bank holiday so we'll be having an informal darts night on Sunday August 30th. Nothing too heavy, just a chance to have a few throws against a very mixed standard of players. If you take darts seriously and don't like people having a laugh then this probably isn't for you!

Usual format... A few round robin groups and then the top few go into the big cup, weaker few into the plate. There isn't actually a physical cup or plate, they are theoretical.

Put your names in 7-715. We'll then figure out the groups and get started by 7.30. We have plenty of boards so it moves pretty quickly.

If you fancy joining a team, this is a good opportunity to come and meet a few of the biys and girls. We currently have 8 teams across Fridays and Sundays, so plenty of opportunities, or a group of mates could start their own team.

I'll be having a farewell drink from 6pm Saturday xx.

So..the time has come for me to move on, goodness this is so hard. My last day at the Carps will be Wednesday 19th August. I'm hoping a few of you would do me the great honour of popping in on Saturday 15th August and saying goodbye. I will literally miss each and every single one of you,you have been a huge part of my life. I love you all, thank you for always treating me with love and respect, it's been a blast
