You’ll need experience across all aspects of butchery, along with great customer service skills and confidence working with customers at the counter.

🍂🎃 HAPPY 1ST SEPTEMBER! 🎃🍂

According to the meteorological calendar, autumn is officially here… which means pumpkin season is getting very close👀

In just a few weeks, our fields will be full of visitors picking their favourites, taking photos and making the most of everything Pumpkin Festival 2026 has to offer.

We’ve planted over 300,000 pumpkins across more than 40 varieties, including classic orange, white, green and striped pumpkins.

🎃IMPORTANT NOTICES🅿️

Firstly, the entrance to Farmer Copleys will be blocked tomorrow due to some excavation works (1st September), however we are OPEN as normal.

Please use our two alternative entrances. One on the right as you head towards Pontefract from Featherstone after the farmhouse, just before you head up the hill & the other is on the left before you reach the Purston/Featherstone sign if you’re coming from Pontefract - they are signposted so please keep an eye out. These are exits too, so please do take it slowly.

Secondly, our amazing pumpkin cake is BACK on sale in the farm shop & we had to have the first taste of the season as we head towards Farmer Copleys Pumpkin Festival 2026!

🍓Looking for one last relaxing Bank Holiday day off before you’re back to work or the kids are back at school?

We’re OPEN today until 4pm in the Farm Shop, Moo Cafe & Copleys Kitchen Dessert Parlour for all things amazing food & drink…

The strawberries are FREE entry for a pick ‘em clean day today from 9:30-3:45. We’ve even got an INCREDIBLE fill your bucket deal for £14. No tickets needed, just turn up!

Why not grab a free raspberry plant whilst you’re there & enjoy some delicious berries next year in your own garden.

Farmer Jack is giving them away to make room for some new fruit, so grab them while you can (a small donation to Yorkshire Air Ambulance would be appreciated).

🍓FREE STRAWBERRY ENTRY & FREE RASPBERRY PLANTS!

Join us this Bank Holiday Monday for our pick ‘em clean day up in the strawberries. We’ve even got a BUCKET DEAL. Fill your bucket with as many strawberries as you can for just £14 - no ticket needed!

We also have FREE raspberry plants for you to take home. Farmer Jack’s putting in some new fruit next year for the 2027 season which means we’re taking out our raspberry plants. - These are available to come and collect at the Strawberry Experience entrance (we would appreciate a small donation to Yorkshire Air Ambulance).

We’re open from 9:30-3:45 & the rest of the business is open too, so we’ll see you tomorrow down on the farm…

🌻 LAST CHANCE FOR SUNFLOWERS! 🌻

It’s been an amazing season, however as we move our farm focus towards pumpkins, today is the final day of our sunflower season 2026!

The field is still looking amazing & there are some beautiful blooms that still need a home, so if you’ve been meaning to visit, this really is your final opportunity.

🍓PYO strawberries are OPEN today as well, so why not make a day of it with a visit to the farm shop, cafe & dessert parlour too!

We are just 4 WEEKS away from our Pumpkin Festival 2026.
